Structural Racism Intensive

Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) is a leader in exploring the role of partnerships in addressing structural racism. We see how inequities have been integrated into the fabric of society across every sector- law, education, housing, and health. As systems are built, they too are dismantled. This intensive examines the history of the development of structural racism and the contemporary manifestations of these institutional inequalities.

If you are interested in learning more about dismantling structural inequality, this intensive is for you! No matter your background, with engaging presentations and discussions, you will leave this intensive with the skills and knowledge to be more aware of how racist structures evolved and are maintained. The ultimate goal of the training is to empower participants to be more reflective about one’s own indoctrination into racist beliefs as a critical phase in  co-creating equitable relationships in your careers and communities.

Our training can be adapted to multiple formats – virtual and in-person. The overall purpose remains the same— to provide participants with a historical understanding of structural inequalities, systemic racism, and skills needed to work in partnership to address these issues. We ensure participants leave with a clear framework for incorporating new insights and core competencies to intentionally challenge norms and practices that perpetuate everyday racism in one’s personal and professional life.
